What is a Roll-Off-System?
A Roll-Off-System can can lift very heavy roll-off containers using a hydraulic load arm and a hook. Thanks to the telescopic arm, the container can be emptied or set down quickly.
How does a Roll-Off-System work?
When emptying, a hydraulic lock and mechanical safety device above the tipping frame help to empty the container safely and quickly. To achieve complete emptying, the telescopic arm must create a high tipping angle so that the entire contents of the container can be tipped out.
To set the roll-off container down, it is lifted using the articulated arm and moved over the back of the vehicle onto the ground. The articulated arm with integrated hydraulic cylinder also ensures a flat roll-off angle. The locking mechanism of the tipping frame must be released for this process. To pull the container up, the hook is hooked into the device and the articulated arm pulls the container back onto the vehicle.
